Santa Fe Place has 2 homes in Moore (both 16 beds) where we assist people with intellectual disabilities. Our focus is on Active treatment and teaching the clients to be as independent as possible. It is a caring environment that requires patience and creativity.

A CNA with a heart for people with disabilities is needed to assist clients with their daily living routines and programs. This position will have various responsibilities including; going with clients on outings, cooking with clients, cleaning, assisting with hygiene, teaching clients independence in daily tasks and communication.
This is the most fulfilling and easiest job that a CNA could have. Each staff is only responsible for 4 residents which allows for a lot of one on one time and assures a high quality of care. Unlike in assisted living centers or nursing homes, where you may be assigned 10-20 residents who may have incontinent needs, bathing needs, feeding assist, transfer assistance, lifting, etc.
Our clients are mainly independent in most of their care and they maintain jobs in various settings as well as paying jobs in the community . They just need someone to teach them independence and living skills.
